Weir Update

October 25 through October 31, 2004
Flow at Goodwin Dam increased to 800 cfs by October 25 and
remained elevated for 5 days before decreasing to 275 cfs by
October 31. Between October 25 and 31, 2004, a total of 834
Chinook passed the Stanislaus River weir increasing the season
total to 1,988. A total of 452 fewer fish have passed the weir
this year than in 2003 during the same time period. |

We
recently obtained a link from Doug Molyneaux (Alaska DFG) to a website
containing annual project reports from weir sites in the Kuskokwim Area of
Alaska. The website also contains a companion report to the weir
