Waterford:
A total of
seven juvenile Chinook salmon were captured between May 28 and
June 5 increasing the season total to 3,312. Daily catch ranged from
zero to two Chinook (Figure
1). Average forklength was 82.4 mm and ranged from 62 mm to
108 mm. Average weight was 7.2 g and ranged from 4.4 g to
12.7 g.

One adult O.
mykiss was captured during the sampling period
increasing the season total to ten. The fish was 325 mm (FL)
and weighed 439 g.
No
trap efficiency tests were conducted at Waterford
during the sampling period due to insufficient
numbers of Chinook captured in the trap.
Four incidental
species were captured during the sampling period including
hardhead, Sacramento pikeminnow, Sacramento sucker, and white
catfish.
Instantaneous water temperature taken at the Waterford trap
ranged between 64°F and 70°F; turbidity ranged from
0.65 NTU to 1.22 NTU; and flows at La Grange ranged between
126 cfs and 217 cfs.
Sampling was
terminated for the season on June 5.
Grayson:
Zero juvenile Chinook salmon
and O.
mykiss were captured between May 28 and
May 29. The season total remains at 27 Chinook and
zero O. mykiss.. Zero incidental species were
captured during the sampling period.

Instantaneous
temperature taken at the trap ranged between 70°F and 71°F, and
turbidity averaged 1.58 NTU. Daily
average flow at Modesto (MOD) averaged 381 cfs.
Sampling was terminated for the season on May 29. |
