Waterford:
The trap sampled continuously between March10 and April 6. A total of
311 juvenile Chinook salmon were captured during the
sampling period increasing the season total to 2,448. Daily catch ranged from one to 24 Chinook (Figure
1). Average forklength was 59 mm and ranged from 33 mm to
151 mm. Average weight was 3.0 g and ranged from 0.3 g to
39.0 g.
Zero O. mykiss were captured in the rotary screw trap
during this sampling period.

No
trap efficiency tests were conducted at Waterford due to insufficient numbers of Chinook captured during the sampling period.
Instantaneous water temperature taken at the Waterford trap
ranged between 52.3 °F and 63.8 °F and turbidity ranged from
0.6 NTU to 4.4 NTU. Daily average flow at La Grange ranged between
158 cfs and 179 cfs.
Grayson:
The traps sampled continuously between March 10 and April 6. A total of four juvenile Chinook were captured increasing the season total to 135. Daily catch ranged from zero to two Chinook (Figure
2). Average forklength was 90.5 mm and ranged from 83 mm to
99 mm. Average weight was 8.4 g and ranged from 5.7 g to
10.4 g.

Zero
trap efficiency tests were conducted at Grayson due to insufficient numbers of Chinook captured during the sampling period.
Instantaneous temperature taken at the trap ranged between 51.2 °F and 64.7 °F, and turbidity ranged from 1.42 NTU to 11.9 NTU. Daily average flow at Modesto (MOD) fluctuated between 252 cfs and 327 cfs.
